This week on The Crumbie Podcast we concern ourselves with one thing and one thing only: the Aviva Premiership Final. We look in depth at our opponents, Northampton Saints, and assess the health of the Leicester Tigers squad ahead of the trip to Twickenham. Joining us this week is the one and only Lewis Moody, he of World Cup-winning and England and Leicester Tigers-captaining fame.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast we look back on one of the most entertaining games at Welford Road, the de-throning of the champions, the passage to a 9th consecutive Premiership Final, the defeat of Harlequins. We also make time for a little nostalgia by looking back at our favourite memories of three departing heroes: Geordan Murphy, Martin Castrogiovanni and Matt O’Connor. Joining us to make sense of it all is the Leicester Mercury’s Chief Rugby Correspondent, Martin Crowson.

Note: We had some technical issues this week outside of our control so the phone line to Martin is a little patchy at times. He’s worth it, though.
This week on The Crumbie Podcast we’re joined by freelance rugby journalist Charlie Morgan to discuss Matt O’Connor’s departure to Leinster, the 32-20 win over London Irish and the upcoming semi-final against champions Harlequins. We also debate Warren Gatland’s choices for the Lions tour to Australia and the chance that the Leicester contingent have of making the Test side.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast we announce the winners of our first ever awards! We recognised the forward and back who have raised their games since last season and also the outright, best-in-class, hands-down player of the year. We also debate this week’s big news that Head Coach Matt O’Connor looks set to join Leinster Rugby, we include some of your views from our Facebook and Twitter pages and we run the rule over two of the leading candidates to replace O’Connor, should he leave. And if all that isn’t enough, there’s also a game to preview – the final regular game of the season – against London Irish.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast we realised that the loss to Bath was so frustrating that we collectively switched off our TVs approximately one second after the final whistle. Nevertheless, we are here to review the game and remain positive for the closing weeks of the season. We also ponder the signing of Argentine international winger Gonzalo Camacho after the club released Horacio Agulla for being an Argentine international winger, and there are yet more talking points with Castro’s move to Toulon.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast it’s back to winning ways as we review the Premiership game masquerading as an exhibition match that was Leicester Tigers v London Wasps. We also look ahead to the trip to Bath at the weekend, where we’ll be enjoying bumping into one of Ed’s favourite characters, Toby Booth. Joining us this week is the excellent Martin Ballard, host of the Leicester Tigers Rugby Show on BBC Radio Leicester.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast we review the epic Heineken Cup quarter-final loss to Toulon and preview the return to Aviva Premiership action against London Wasps, all in the company of Charlie Morgan, writer for The Rugby Blog. We also, begrudgingly, discuss the remaining semi-finalists in Europe and who we think the likely winners of the competition will be.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast we dearly wish we had more than sixty minutes to talk because Leicester thrashed Northampton in the East Midlands derby. We’ll say it again: Leicester thrashed Northampton in the East Midlands derby. With so many good performances to talk about we almost couldn’t find time for the very special guest on this week’s show, England international Dan Cole. Oh, and there’s the small matter of the Heineken Cup Quarter Final this weekend against Toulon.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast we have a Leicester game to talk about! Hurrah! It’s been so long we almost forgot what one looked like, though we’re still not sure what one looks like after experiencing seventy-nine of the most incident-free minutes of rugby you’ll ever see in the 12-9 win against Exeter, followed by precisely one minute of drama. But we can always find points to debate on The Crumbie Podcast, and if we can’t find anything, we sing. We also look ahead to the East Midlands derby against Northampton in a crucial weekend for the play-offs as the top six teams in the Aviva Premiership all play one another.

This week on The Crumbie Podcast there’s a Leicester game to look forward to! Oh, thank the heavens, there’s a Leicester game! The Six Nations is over so now we can get back to the real reason we’re all here: the business-end of the Aviva Premiership. We preview the trip to Sandy Park to face Exeter on Saturday, discuss the impact of the season-ending injuries to Boris Stankovich and Louis Deacon and debate the Tom Croft did-he-didn’t-he-no-he-really-didn’t spitting incident with Leigh Halfpenny.
